Church of South India Platinum Jubilee Pillar is designed in triangular shape to denote three
quarters of her historical growth. Each side represents twenty five years amounting to
seventy five years of the life, ministry and growth. Diocesan logos are engraved in these
three triangles according to the chronological order of formation and proceed upward. The
three branches on top denote the Open Church. It also denotes the branches of the
mustard shrub which is used as a metaphor in the theme of the Platinum Jubilee,


“Envisioning Together An Open Church In An Open World”
The small corona ball on top of the third horizontal triangle symbolizes the Pandemic
Covid19 which affected the Church leading to closed doors of the Church during the
Platinum Year.
